Difficulties With Relationship Building? Three Types Of Personality Disorders

in #life4 years ago

People with Personality Disorder display a disturbing peculiarity when it comes to relating to others. There are times when you may be completely oblivious of the fact that you are being subjected to such behavior, and it may lead to serious consequences. This is especially so in the case of an incident where the other person has committed some grave mistake against you. If you have difficulty relating to others this may well be one of the symptoms of personality disorder.

It has been found that over fifty percent of people who are suffering from personality disorders have difficulty in maintaining healthy and fulfilling relationships. A major reason for this disorder is their problem relating to themselves. They believe that they are better than everyone around them. There are cases where they behave in a way that would make others feel that they are fools or worse still, disgusting. There are many symptoms of personality disorder that come in the form of difficulty in relationships and marriage.

When you have difficulty relating to others and have a problem with social withdrawal there are two possible solutions for you. One solution that you can opt for is seeking professional help. The other is getting the best social skills training possible. There is no doubt that social skills training can take you a long way towards getting better at interacting with others. The training will help you overcome your antisocial personality disorder and help you become more sociable and help you develop better interpersonal relationships.

When it comes to socialization, there is another interesting approach that you can try. If you have difficulty relating to others as a family member then the best thing that you can do is seek assistance from a professional family relationship counsellor. The counsellor will teach you how to manage your personality when it comes to relationships. They will also help you overcome your difficulties when it comes to relationships with your family members. Most importantly, the counsellor will teach you how to develop better interpersonal relationships with people from other generations as well.

Psychologists call these three clusters FDS, or family history, DS, or chronological memory and RLS, or reactive attachments. As you may know, the acronym FDS stands for family history trait and DS for character trait. You might have difficulty relating to others and have a problem with personality disorders if you have a family history of personality disorders such as DS. People with personality disorders such as FDS are usually unable to maintain healthy relationships.

The third cluster that you need to focus on is schizoid personality disorder. Schizoid personality disorder is defined as having a mental illness characterized by emotional isolation and excessive self-reflection. Usually, people with schizoid personality disorder seldom seek treatment. The thought process that they go through is that their problems and feelings are unique and that everyone has similar experiences. Actually, this is an accurate belief but it is not true. People with schizoid personality disorder often experience more difficulties relating to others than those with other personality disorders, because they do not understand why they have difficulty relating to others.

As you can see, all three of these three clusters have something in common. All three of these disorders are characterized by dysfunctional thinking processes, distorted perceptions of reality, lack of empathy, and a lack of social skills. Although people with personality disorders have problems relating to others, they also have problems relating to social settings. People with socialite often find themselves being shy around people and have difficulty making and maintaining friendships.

People who have personality disorders and those who are asocial are both very different when it comes to how they relate to others and to social settings. When you add schizoid personality disorder to the mix, you get a difficult to handle combination. People with personality disorders often do not receive help with their problems and have difficulty relating to others. Those with socialite problems often have problems relating to friends and making relationships but may also have trouble making friendships with those in their social settings. People with all three types of personality disorders can still form strong bonds and meaningful relationships, even if they have difficulty relating to others and having meaningful social activities. If you have difficulty relating to others and have difficulties making friends, you should consider seeking treatment for your personality disorder.
