It does no make any sense for former Goverment's employees to keep their security clearance especially if they have questionable political bias. I think if the new administrations need assistance from a former employee they can reinstate their security clearance for that purpose, as it is right now anyone one from former administrations can fly to NZ take whatever information and leave no No Logs/No Records of them accessing sensitive material. For example: Hillary Clinton no long ago flew to NZ and some of us wonder about the nature of her trip.

Sort:  

Normal government employees lose all their clearance as soon as they leave.
If someone gets a job and needs the clearance again, they should reapply.

Simple enough, that even Congress should understand it.
