Hello SteemIt Community!

I found out about SteemIt from a friend. I am a newbie to both blogging and crypto currency market. Through this site, I just want to share with you my passions and ideas. So come and join me as I introduce my self.

My name is Rey Gie, born in the year 1996 in Southern Leyte, Philippines. I finished my Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science last 2016 and I am currently working as a Development Engineer in an IT Company in Cebu City, Philippines for almost 2 years already and now, I'm still pursuing my dreams and goals in life which is to become a teacher/professor in a University one day.

I really love to read books and sometimes writing some short stories and poems of my own. I have my own collection of English novels and back in high school days, I am a member of our school publication. I would really love to share some of writings here in the future.

I also love music and way back college days, I am a member of a catholic church choir in our university and sometimes we sing in some events like weddings of our choir alumni.

Another thing I do love is travelling, going from one tourist spot in our province to another. It's a very expensive thing to do but given the right way to budget your expenses, it will become cheaper and cheaper in the long run. I would really love to share to all of you some of my trips and introduce you to some of the local destinations here in the Philippines. Give you advises on where to buy safe and cheap food and stuff on your travel.
