ADOLESCENTS NOWADAYS

Knowing the new generation today is very important. We need to consider the environment and the nature they are in, as well as, understand their behaviour. Knowing them better will help us how to guide them in the right path for better future.

• Act on Impulse
  Usually,teenagers nowadays decide promptly without thinking it many times or planning on what to do. They do not think the possible results of their actions as well as the effect if it to other people.

• Misread or misinterpret social cues and emotions
  Sometimes adults are blind of their actions not knowing that adolescents were just watching and observing and they easily misinterpret actions. Showing to them how to react or respond a certain situations might affect how they think or how they behave towards other people.

• Get into accidents of all kinds
  Some teenagers right now are easily tempted to do things and decide on their own because of many factors that should be considered. Like gor example, at the early age, they have entered already in a relationship to their opposite sex. This kind of decision might lead them into destructions and some gets into an accidents like early pregnancy of young women due to lack of guidance and understanding especially from their parents. We cannot denied that most of the parents are busy on their own works to provide all the needs of the family without knowing that they forgot their duties and responsibilities as a parent especially spending time to them.

• Get involved in fights
  If most young women nowadays accidentally gets in an early pregnancy, boys are mostly involved in an illegal fraternity or gang that causes them into trouble. Fraternity that distort their dreams and goals in the future and even affect their behaviour.

• Engage in dangerous or risky behaviour
  Due to peer pressure,impulsivity of young minds, curiosity, and lack of guidance and understanding, teenagers get involved in a dubious behaviour like smoking, drinking alcohol, gang fighting, stealing, and worst of all,taking drugs that destroys teenagers entire life.

In general, adolescents are less likely to think before they act, pause to consider the potential consequences of their actions, and modify their dangerous or inappropriate behaviours.
