Hi Steemian!

Well, it is my first article since joining in January... Better late than never!

First of all, let me introduce myself. My name is Reza Juanda. I am a banker from Aceh, Indonesia. Writing has always been my hobby. I hope I can make friends here through my writings and by joining the communities.

I will write mixed contents of (I hope you will find them) interesting articles. There were some articles (in Indonesian) that I wrote in the past, some of them:

Thanks to @kemal13 who had introduced Steemit to me. I believe a decentralized system of steem and blockchain will be the new era of Dinar and the future of the world.

Hello rezajuanda! Welcome to Steemit! Hope you'll like the community here. As a start, here are 5 tips that we believe will be helpful to you:

Keep your passwords safe: Unlike conventional sites, Steemit has 4 types of passwords. Each offers varying degrees of access to your account, so know where and when to use each of them. Also, make sure to keep them all safe and secure.
Get Steem rewards: When writing a post, you'll have the option to choose how to receive your reward: "Default 50%/50%" or "Power Up 100%". As of this moment, choosing Default 50%/50% is the better option. But this can change over time. Check our post to know more.
Upvote wisely: When upvoting, wait at least 30 minutes after the post is published to maximize your curation reward. Also, make sure not to upvote too much too fast so as not to drain your voting power.
Know your Steem, Steem Dollars and Steem Power: Steem and Steem Dollars are the 2 main currencies here. Convert and power up more Steem into Steem Power so you can have higher values on your upvotes.

Hello, Reza, and Welcome to Steemit.

Yes, better late than never, but Steemit is still in its early days, so you have a head start over most of the world. ☺

As a writer, you'll find the platform to be fantastic. It's essentially a blogging / publishing platform.

On top of that is has a pre-fab site, a ready and waiting audience, and a great tool to motivate writers such as you and I. That tool is the crypto-currency STEEM!

(I tried blogging before, and failed or just gave up. With Steemit, I've succeeded and continued ..... Hope you do, too.)

Below are a few basic points of advice re posting on Steemit.
1 – Longer posts are more lucrative than short posts. If you make a post of 20–30 paragraphs, it's more likely to earn rewards.
2 – Include some photos, images or graphs, to complement the text.
3 – Make sure the text and photos are formatted properly, so that your post looks attractive and appealing.
4 – Be yourself.
5 – Be interesting and informative.
6 – Create quality content. Steemit is intended to be a platform of quality content. (You will see many insignificant posts with meager content and no quality. Most of those of posts [called “shitposts” by Steemit whale Stellabelle] will earn few rewards and soon pass into oblivion.)
7 – Get online and start curating. Read various posts, comment on those posts you find interesting, and upvote those posts. That’s the best way to attract followers.
