Leisure time in children
Apply various strategies to encourage reading, perform activities such as painting, dancing, reading stories, ask them to help them collaborate in small housework dynamically, learn a language, go hiking, board games, practice some sport, make puppets, make a small play about a topic that you would like your child to learn, these activities as well as distracting and hanging out also positively enrich the little ones. Leisure and the fact of enjoying a time that is consciously free, has many benefits for children.
Parents should take into account not stress their children in their leisure time, respect their time, let choose the extracurricular activities they prefer, help them make a decision, but do not force them to do something they do not want. Help them to develop their creativity, make them enjoy and be interested in reading, read some text that is to their liking and to teach them values, in short, that have an enrichment for the little ones.
Give your children room to make mistakes: It's about having spaces to have fun and feel more free, make mistakes and learn from it. Try to consume a lot of time to various activities and force them to isolate themselves like watching television or surfing the internet. Taking into account that if they do they should select programs, games and movies appropriate to their age and others that provide good learning.
One of the advantages that children have a good way to take advantage of their free time, is that they favor you to be happier, to be distracted, to develop their creativity, to fly their imaginations, to be more sociable and independent, responsible since your present entertainment will be the basis of a better future.
