My village in 10 pics || 06 January 2021|| Dhokrakol char area
I feel very comfortable to show the beauty of our village to the world. I have done a lot of photography with a Cannon 200D DSLR camera [55/250 mm Zoom lens]. Which I will share with you. Today I will share with you the rivers of our area and the beauty of the river side. Hope you will like it.

You see a beautiful long boat. The name of this boat is Baiji's boat. About 50 meters long, this boat can seat 75-80 people. With this boat various games are organized every year after the monsoon season. These games are popular in rural Bengal as boat baiz.

It is an almost dried up river. After the river water dried up, the farmers planted paddy. In this way the lands have been put to good use. You can also see that there are many boats on the river. These have been kept in this place due to lack of water. When the water rises, it will start again.

There was a lot of water in this place even 2 months ago. Due to drying up of water, farmers are crossing the river in vans. There is sugarcane molasses on their van. These are being taken home from the sugarcane factory. Where the van is now, everyone is pushing together because of the mud. The view is awesome.

A long time ago this boat was kept in the water. The boat is on the ground because the river water has dried up. During the monsoon, the river will have plenty of water again. Then the boat will float in the water again. But as a result of staying like this for a long time, the bottom of the boat gets damaged. It needs to be repaired before it can be reused.

It is a kind of fishing gear. If there was water in the river, the poor fishermen would fish with it. Now these machines are abandoned due to lack of water in the river. In the vernacular it is called Duare. Only small fish can be caught by this device.

There is a wide path leading to rural Bengal through the middle of the dry river. Numerous tractors travel on this road every day. The tractor you can see in the picture is carrying soil. Bricks will be made with this soil.

I did not like this picture. Because the young boy you see in the picture, now is the time to get an education. But he has chosen to work hard to earn money. This is what he is doing. When there is a lack of money, people have to accept the reality.
This boy is carrying broken sugarcane.

Bricks are made in the brick kiln through some process. Mud soil is first made by mixing water with soil. Then they have to be shaped into bricks. Then the desired bricks are obtained by burning them in the furnace.
You can see in the picture a man carrying raw bricks to the furnace. Then these will be burnt.
