Gomes Hit With Match Ban

Everton midfielder, Andre Gomes has been hit with a three-match ban after accepting a charge for misconduct.

The Portugal International appeared to have stamped on Fulham striker, Aleksandr Mitrovic in stoppage time, as Everton were beaten 2-0 at Craven Cottage.

And although the incident was missed by match official Lee Robert, an independent Committee has looked into it which would now make the former Valencia man miss matches against Manchester United, Crystal Palace and Burnley.

Gomes, who is on loan from Barcelona would however be available for their last game of the season away to Tottenham.
