Nature’s Beauty

One of my favourite parts of the journey to my grandparent’s house are the trees that arch over the road. There is a part of the journey, usually when we are about two hours away from our destination, where the trees start to come closer to the road. They start to curve overhead and almost seem to join together.

I love the natural arch’s they form, blocking the bright sunlight and forming areas of cool shade underneath. They make wiggly shadows underneath them and sometimes, their branches even entangle with each other.

In this photo, it shows the beginning of that path and shows how further along, the trees get closer and start merging together. Also, I somehow managed to capture a moment where no other cars were in front of us. The only people you can see are two men going opposite ways, one walking and one riding a bicycle.

The simple beauty and natural lifestyle this photo captures perfectly describes what this journey and place means to me.
