Air Quality during and after Diwali

In 2014 the AQI (Air Quality Index) before Diwali was 220 and it was predicted that it would be 450 . Despite the campaigns all the efforts failed and on Diwali it took a big leap of(respirable suspended particulate matter) 531 mg per cubic metre.The AQI after Diwali was 439.

In 2015,the AQI before Diwali was alarming at 222 and it proved to be severe.During Diwali it 547 which is very bad for our health. After Diwali it dropped to 182 which was drastic improvement.
In both years there has been drastic changes and if we compare the changes,there has been very less changes before. And during diwali the difference is 16 which isn’t much of a change. After Diwali the differences is large at 257.
