✎ Some Tools You May Not Of Known Existed On The Steem BlockChain ✎

Steemit or more properly put The Steem Block Chain has allot of interesting tools to help us on our journey while we are on this amazing blockchain. Most know about some of the more well known ones such as the different Dapps/Sites that can help us access the Steem Chain similar to how Steemit does like http://steempeak.com but there are other neat tools on this blockchain that will make your stay here much more enjoyable. Some of those tools are listed below.

PeakMonsters

If you are on the Steem blockchain then chances are you have heard about Steem-Monsters. PeakMonsters is a secondary market for our Steem-Monster cards. The site has all the functionalities of the official Steem-Monsters web page plus some other added cool features. Recently they added the ability to rent cards from other users. This is great news for anyone wanting to test out a card before they decide to spend their hard earned currency on purchasing one.

SteemWorld

This site is simply amazing. Don't believe me, check it out for your self at https://steemworld.org/@yournamehere. This site can show your vote value/ delegations / followers / mentions and much more.

GiftGiver

As many know actions taken on the Steem Blockchain cost us resource credits, playing steem-monsters are one of those actions that eat up those credits. This very cool site (https://giftgiver.me/) aims at helping those who are active on the Steem BlockChain via giving FREE delegations out to those who need them.

@Dustsweeper

Being new on this blockchain can be tough and every little we earn can help us push forward but did you know that all our rewards below 0.02 turn to dust. This means that any content we create that doesn't get rewarded with at least 0.02 of upvotes don't get paid out to us and the rewards simply vanish into "dust". @dustsweeper is a paid for service that was created by @davemccoy and @danielsaori with the purpose to help you keep as much as your rewards as possible via upvoting your content that already has upvotes on them but hasn't yet reached the $0.02 payout threshold. You can learn more about this cool tool via visiting the blog @dustsweeper.

@Dustbunny

Dustbunny works similar to dustsweeper but is free to use. Anyone can sign up to have some of their dust rewards upvoted to the payout threshold. Those who delegate to @dustbunny have a higher chance at getting their content upvoted by dustbunny. Even if you don't plan on delegating I would suggest signing up to this cool service. If you are already using @dustsweeper signing up to the @dustbunny service to help save more of your rewards from turning to dust is always a great option.

@Steem-Bounty

@steem-bounty is a reward placed on a topic that is distributed to the participants in the topic. 98% of the bounty is distributed according to the votes from the bounty creator. 2% or the rest of the bounty is determined by votes of everyone else that voted on the comments. This initiative was started by @knircky. This is a great tool to bring attention to your content and to reward those who are participating in the comment section of your created content. To learn more click @steem-bounty to visit its official page.

I like steemd.com

That's a good one as well.

I use it frequently.

Giftgiver: helping those who are active in Steem-Monsters game play via giving FREE delegations out to those who need them.

It's not just those who play steem monsters. It's for everyone who's low on RC, no matter what. Steem Monsters players are currently the biggest user of it.

I have been here almost a year now. When I joined it was a lot more active. I think the wallet change has made steemit more user unfriendly. People today want ease. They don’t care about security (the majority) and steem value doesn’t help. The statistics speak for themselves and most d apps lose steam (and steem) right after launch. You have a Great Page and there a more a few left out there, but for the most part, I think by the time crypto goes mainstream there will be something better that comes along. This is only my opinion and usually, when I voice it the exact opposite happens so take it with a grain of salt but, I don't think I will be investing any more fiat into steemit as it stands. Maybe there will be an improvement in the future, but they should have kept it all together on one page with an option to buy directly from steemit.com with a credit card and PayPal. The signup process alone has scared most of my real life friends and family away.

I agree about simplicity. I mainly blame the move towards RC for the loss of activity on Steemit. The general public doesn't want to jump through hoops to use a media outlet. They aren't going to pay to use a lesser known outlet when there are more popular free ones out there. There are so many other options to choose from that are much easier to get started on that I think it was a big blunder to introduce the RC limitations that replaced the now defunct Bandwidth.

I do believe the major online media outlets like Facebook will have to do some serious adjustments if they don't want another site to creep up on them. Will that site be Steemit or another on the Steem block chain I honestly have no clue.

The hardfork that shut down all the small users and new accounts with RC limitations was a disaster. They quickly fixed it but the damage was done.

Agreed, we humans have short attention spans and are known to be stubborn. Hopefully some of those lost users give Steemit another try at some point.

I didn't even think about the RC thing, but it never affected me. That really grinds my gears!!! Just sucks, but great projects like those you have mentioned are the only thing keeping me around. Some really great people out there.
