Matthew 22.1-14

In life there will always be an opportunity in which we are hosts, and that in our hearts there is the desire to receive our guests well, worrying that everything is ready, in order and that nothing is missing. For this we do the preparation with a lot of time in advance; we even visualize how the day of the event will take place, we coordinate times and human personnel; In order that everything is perfect or almost perfect, without neglecting any detail. The core point in a meeting are the guests, and we wish that all those we have considered attend the meeting, we always hope that no one is missing, so that they can enjoy what we have prepared with such love and care. In our whole being there is rejoicing and, why not, a certain nervousness, waiting for the moment so longed for by all of us to participate in such a crucial event, wishing to please all our guests.

But what happens when everything that we hope is a success, becomes a great failure, because all the guests at the event do not show up, or the "special" guests of the last one communicate that they will not be able to attend ... disappointment!! You feel that everything was in vain, that you were wrong to choose the people you thought you were never going to fail, that on the contrary they would be graced by such deference, and that for no reason would you lose the privilege of such an honorable distinction. As I do this narrative, this happened in the parable that the Lord Jesus tells his disciples, comparing the King with the Father, and the son with Himself, as well as the servants, with the apostles, and the weddings, with the enjoyment we can have by living under grace. The Father had prepared everything so that his beloved Son would be received in the hearts of all, that they would love him and obey him, because the one who spoke through him was the God himself, however, he was despised and humiliated; everyone's ears were closed to hearing the word of God, and hearts were hardened to love in the way He loved them; their minds were captive in the past, they lived under the law, and they despised the wonderful gift of God, which consisted in living under the grace of Christ Jesus. Imagine what the Eternal Father would feel when he saw how his beloved Son was, and has been despised by humanity; He had arranged everything to give a great reception and to enjoy what he had prepared with much love long ago, he hoped that his Son would be received by his people with love, that they would adore him and learn everything that God through him wanted to give him. to his beloved people. However, when Jesus Christ was despised, God in his infinite wisdom and mercy decided to give everything to those who truly accepted the Christ of Glory and received him with love, recognizing that He was the Son of God. As in the time of Christ, today the same thing happens; The Lord is calling everyone to repentance, since He wants to grant forgiveness and salvation; However, for many, even "believers" nothing has served the sacrifice that Christ made to die on the cross only for love do you know why? Simply because they do not believe in Him, and because they think that they can achieve everything with their knowledge or with their strength, that they do not need or need God; The saddest and most worrisome thing is that many "brothers" are content to be followers of Christ (like those five thousand), and do not long to be disciples of the Master. They have entered a spirit of apathy, doubt, distrust, uncertainty, disbelief, have forgotten their first love; they have gone from triumphant to defeatist, from successful to unsuccessful, from ambitious (in the good) to conformist, from being men and women of FAITH to spiritual dead.

If you are one of them, today I encourage you to put aside all this that is preventing you from walking and knowing the power of God, that you leave that state of spiritual agony in which you are currently, to take your towel of the Faith and walk to the river of the Holy Spirit and submerge yourself by remaining in Him, until you are completely cleansed of all your complexes of guilt, fear, despair, and all that torments you; that you come out of that river clothed with the Grace of Christ Jesus, may the Spirit of God change your clothes and dress you in fullness so that you may participate in the supper that the Lord has prepared especially for you. If you already received the invitation to attend the King's banquet, enjoy yourself because you are one of the PRIVILEGED guests, and you can not afford to despise his DIVINE MAJESTY; If you have not yet received this invitation, I extend the invitation in the name of the Son, of our Lord Jesus. ACCEPT IT !! Because this party has been prepared for everyone who receives it. You just have to open the envelope and read aloud what is written next: LORD JESUS TODAY I OPEN MY HEART AND DECLARE THAT YOU ARE THE SON OF GOD, THAT YOU DIED FOR ME ALONE BECAUSE YOU LOVE ME. I ASK YOU FORGIVE ME ALL MY SINS AND REBELLIONS, THAT I RECEIVE YOU LIKE MY SAVIOR AND MY LORD AND I ASK YOU TO LIVE FROM TODAY WITHIN ME AND NOT ALLOW MORE TO BE CAUGHT IN TEMPTATION. AMEN

God wants to have dinner with us, God wants to have an intimate relationship with us, a personal relationship, not a relationship at a distance, a true relationship. This type of relationship is known as "communion". Throughout the Bible we are shown a God who seeks us, calls us, invites us. In Genesis, when Adam and Eve had sinned, it was God who took the initiative to go out into the garden and ask, "Where are you? (Genesis 3: 9) And in the last book of the Bible we find the same God inviting us to dine with Him: "Look, here I am knocking at the door. If someone hears my voice and opens the door, I will go in, I will dine with him and he with me. "

God wants us to be close to him in a mutual relationship

Glory to God, we have been invited to a great dinner, an incredible party of our Eternal Father. if we feel happy when someone invites us to a party literally.
