Facebook ad-buy for Steemit - Week #3 recap
This week-end marks the end of my third, weekly, advertising buy for Steem's Popular STEM community.
My theory is this: Content creators want an audience first. If an audience comes, rewards will follow. So, I'm playing around with Facebook ads in order to draw an audience of STEM enthusiasts (and hopefully some content producers, too!).
As with last week, I set the advertising campaign's goal to generate link clicks, instead of engagement.
Up until now, ad buys have all been for my own posts. Not sure how long I'll continue this effort, but while I do, I'm willing to promote other authors' content, too. If you want your own content to be considered for a future ad buy, no promises, but here are some guidelines:
- Must be written in reasonably fluent English
- Must be original content
- Must be posted in the Popular STEM community
- 800-2500 words (not counting redundant words in multi-language translations)
- Images must be original, public domain, or otherwise licensed for use, and the right to use needs to be clearly described. I'm not going to spend my time figuring it out.
- This is paid with money out of my own pocket, so I'm going to be pretty demanding as to quality.
Here is a screen cap of last week's $7 advertisement, which finishes today, along with the posts corresponding to my previous purchases:
