It is my wish to apply for the post of county representative for Nigeria. It has always been an honour to extend my duty and responsibilities here on Steemit. This time around, to officially represent and promote Steemit in Nigeria which is a task I'm willing to fulfil if given the opportunity.

My Presence on Steemit

I joined Steemit in August 2020. Since then, I have been an active member of the platform and have contributed to its growth in many ways. My commitment, consistency, and efforts as an author earned me the role of a crypto academy professor. A position I have taken for more 1year teaching and mentoring users on cryptocurrency technology.

Furthermore, I'm one of the founding members of @steem4nigeria. A community that was created to unite Nigerians on Steemit under one roof to support and promote Steemit across the country.

Also, I have been a team leader for SEVENGERS for the past 5 months. An outstanding curation team that has been active for 4months supporting and mentoring authors. For all these roles I have held, it will be a great pleasure to extend my services to my country as a country representative for Nigeria.

At the time of writing this application, I have 16k+ owned Steem power out of which I delegated part of it to support and grow our country community @steem4nigeria. I have always powered up my earnings and am also a strong member of #club75. I have always wanted to build and invest in Steem power. I believe this is a way I can support the development of the platform through curation. I have achieved triple dolphin status with 16k SP and I look forward to new goals in building my Steem power.

My reputation at the time of writing this application is 73.8 which is above the minimum requirement for this position.

Residency

I currently live in Portharcourt, Rivers state Nigeria. I haven't left the country before and I don't have any intentions of traveling right now. Currently, I'm serving my nation under the National youth service scheme (NYSC).

Nigeria is a great country with diverse languages and cultures. I have been to all regions of the country through tours and educational programs.

Language

There are diverse languages here in Nigeria. But the three recognized languages are Igbo, Hausa, and Yoruba. The Igbo language is my mother tongue which I speak fluently. Also, I'm fluent in the English language which is the official language in Nigeria. This makes it very easy to communicate and interact with every Nigerian notwithstanding your culture or background.

I have always tried my possible best to support users through curation. My voting CSI is 20 with 95 accounts supported in the last 7 days as shown in the screenshot above.

Proof of Brain is incomplete without curation. With this knowledge, users and mostly Nigerians have gained my support through curation. Curation has been one of the major roles I currently hold here on Steemit as a team leader with @steemcurator09 and also the manual curator for @steem4nigeria community.

The roles I hold here on Steemit have made it possible for me to track the contents of Nigerians across the platform in any community and also support their publication.

Why I will make a good CR

My experience and commitment here on Steemit have given me recognition as a role model and mentor to new and existing Nigerians on Steemit. It has always been my passion to serve, support, and educate users through mentoring and other related activities. Being a lover of blockchain technology, my objective is to transfer my knowledge to users for a proper understanding of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology which I have achieved as a Crypto Academy Professor.

Also, as one of the founding members of the Steem4nigeria community. My goal is to unite Nigerians through engagements, contests, and promotional activities. Working with great minds like @ngoenyi, @fredquantum, @xkool and other reputable Nigerians on Steemit has given me the opportunity to be a great team member on issues related to the development and growth of Steemit in Nigeria.

The opportunity to be a CR is very important to my goals to promote the growth and development of Steemit in Nigeria by creating valuable content, and engagement activities through contests. I look forward to this great opportunity.
