Sweet, Sour and Spicy Chutney!
Chutney is an integral part of the cuisines of the Indian subcontinent. As rice is our main meal, so we add Chutney side by side with other curries, with snacks sometimes, and sometimes we take it raw.
You will get to see lots of street sellers serve Chutney in a different way with lots of ingredients, mostly the sour fruits. A few days ago, I found a similar street cart in front of the Arts Building of the University of Dhaka. These food carts don't have any name or any specific place. You will find this in public places like shopping malls.
I'm sharing some of the photos of the item the seller adds with the Chutney!
Now the making process! The seller uses an iron made Mortar and pestle to grind all the food items altogether. And serve the Chutney in a mini plastic bag with a spoon.
And, here's the Chutney!
The Chutney was too good. It goes well with my taste buds, maybe that's why. The seller is quite popular in this are for his special ingredients. It was spicy, sweet and sour; just mouthwatering.
*I didn't find the food cart's name on the map, so just adding the name people usually call it. And pointing the place on the map where you will find this Chutney cart.*
