Good Old Traditional Prawn 🍤🍤 recipe | Flavors from Bangladeshi Cuisine!
Bangladeshi cuisine means 'full of spice, different flavors, and all'. The best part of it is we cook the same recipe in a different style, every time. Fusion is well acceptable also.
We have done our lunch with the prawn today. And I'm going to show you how I prepared it. This is one of my favorites because it's so simple yet full of taste.
So let's see what we need!
- Shrimp or prawn
- Tomatoes
- Onion
- Cilli
- Salt, turmeric powder, vegetable oil, sugar, and water.
You see, only a few ingredients and your meal will be prepared.
Here's the detail of my recipe!
The prawns I took.
Cleaned and washed, ready to cook.
Onion slices on the pan, cook it until brown with vegetable oil
Add all the other ingredients without the prawns. Cook it until it is well combined.
Then add the shrimps or prawns.
You can put the lead on but don't overcook as prawn need only a few minutes to cook or it will get rubbery. Add some sugar to balance the taste just before turning off the heat.
And it's done!
Serve it and enjoy.
It's a good going meal with rice and roti. We usually enjoy with rice, add some other side dishes. But it tastes so awesome, this meal just took the show.
If you have guests in the house, you can prepare this in a few minutes. And I think no one would not love to have the delicious taste of this dish.
