Bangladesh has a large history of the finest Hindu monument around the country. You may find hundreds of thousands of temples here, from ancient to modern. Those temples are very popular for their architectural beauty. They became major tourist places also.

Last Saturday I had the chance to visit one of the captivative temples in this capital city. It called 'Ramna Kali Mandir'. We call temple as Mandir in our native Bangla. This mandir is from the Mughal Empire. The temple is dedicated to the Hindu Goddess Kali.

You can see the detailing of the architecture, is not it amazing?

Not only people from the Hindu religion visit this place for worshiping but also anyone is welcome here to enjoy the beauty. I'm not sure if they allow people from other religions inside of the temple because I never attempted to visit the inside.

Every year, several religious occasions took place in this temple premises. During that time, this place became very crowded, not like this what you can see now in these images.

I'm sharing some color images also to show you the real beauty of this place!

But unfortunately, this design is not the original architecture of this temple. The temple was developed from 1882–1913. Later, during our liberation war in 1971, this place was destroyed. So, later it rebuild and gave a new look, what we can see now. It was a totally different design before. Now, this design is not ancient but it's also beautiful, I would say.
