Last time we discussed about challenges in marriage now we are going to look at how to deal with challenges in marriage.

HOW TO DEAL WITH CHALLENGES IN MARRIAGE

1. Learn to accept your in-laws, brother's/sister's of your husband'' as part of your family from the first day you meet.

2. The cordial relationship which existed before weeding between you and your in-laws should continue after marriage.

3. Learn to talk over your differences amicably without reporting to your brother/sister or parents.

4. Prayerfully overlook faults and put good constructions on his or her actions. Do not gossip, bear false witness or speak evil of him or her. Titus 3:2

5. Avoid making the home a contesting or battle ground over trivial matters that are of little or no significance. Be a peacemaker.

6. Mutual respect for each other from the first day of meeting will sustain the wife's/husband's confidence in the people around her.

7. Reconciliations: Decide to reconcile what ever it takes. Decide to obey the injunction of the bible 2 Tim 2:24-25, forgive, open a channel of communication, speak the truth in love never refer to old issues and pray for your spouse.

In conclusion, let the golden rule always be your guide, remember that in Jer. 9:23-24. "Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither, let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches but let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understands and knoweth me, that I am the Lord who exercises loving kindness, judgment and righteousness, in the earth; for in these things i delight, saith the Lord".
