Dragonfish come light my fire!
I love the little finger popping out, it's a touch of female elegance ;)
Like a lady wanting to light her cigarette stick (which actually works as a bait) and waits for the poor males to fall for her.
Looks like some ladies also like to play with fire 😉 ...and when did the guys ever have a chance?
Oh, well, players are players no matter the sex ;) I don't think it's a woman- or man-only privilege. One's character makes the difference and attracts you to them

You always craft an interesting environment. I love the way you portray luminance. Looking forward to more.
Thank you! Luminance can really only be achieved in a painting by surrounding it with darkness and so everything has its two sides..

My professor at the academy said that a circular composition always needs a straight line sticking out of the image. You have one too.

Well, it was her theory so I am not sure it is necessary, but I guess she has a point when using a figurative motif. Trying to make it balance can easily end up in ornaments.
Makes sense! Of course Raphael did a perfect job. With my painting the owner was struggling to hang it right, since the stick is in an angle...
