Parents behavior towards Children !
The relation between a child and a parent has a major influence on most aspects of child development.
Parents has a major affect in their children’s behavior. Children are like sponges they learn model everything a parent does and incorporate what they see into their own lives. It is one of the key that the parents set out for their children.
Why do parents behave the way they do when raising children?
The answer that comes out is that they are modelling the behavior of their own parents, having learned how to parent in the course of being parented.
Some things that can be countered and should be considered :
Social Skills Count
- Antisocial children learn their behavior from their parents
Children usually look out for their parents behavior as both in social or antisocial characters while some becomes introvert while other loves the company of others .As it is said that children model their parents and learn from them.
Calling things out from a distance:
- It is a major issue that all the parents seems to do which is they do not reach out to their parents as they are supposed to be .Be sure to tell children important instructions face-to-face.Be thee for them as when they need you
Transitioning without warning:
- It is our human nature to feel have different feeling at different times .As it is important for the parents to know when and how the situation is .Transitions can be hard for kids, especially in the middle of something they are enjoying. Having warning gives children the the ability to cope up or get less frightened.
Be aware of the situation:
- Consider and manage environmental and emotional factors so that they can reach out to you !
Make expectations clear:
- Every parent have their own expectations towards their children .It will even be better for you and your children to cooperate if both the child and you are clear on what’s expected. Sit down with your child and make things clear.As it will even be more great for both of you to get to make a communication.
The thing that is must to be avoided is that Child abuse.It does causes a range of antisocial and destructive behaviors.Parents who usually abuse their children may cause their children to be aggressive and violent thus getting a wrong turn and be on the path of destruction !Which is to be avoided at all times !
One of the most important thing that matters is let kids have a choice! Be with them and support them as they are your loved ones .
