No doubt robots are getting cooler over the years and this is certainly the example as this robot can adapt its shape and mobility to move over any terrain and surface without a problem.
Tracked robots are often used in search & rescue and other challenging missions. Most can’t change their shape to adapt to new environments though. This Shape-Changing Continuous Track Robot is different. It is actuated using only 2 motors and can change its shape to climb over obstacles and pass over objects without touching them.
