Brutality. For the unarmed Americans

In the events that are unraveling in Standing Rock, I wonder what a person would say to their children when they just finished blasting water at fellow unarmed citizens. Are they proud of their actions or are they scared to go against this so called authority. How does a person take an oath to uphold the Constitution and protect and serve? Is this the definition of protect and serve? A time has come where the citizens of this once great nation need to look at who we really are and decide if this is really the free world we want to belong to or are we slaves to the greater good of the corporate monsters that control us. We turn a blind eye to the blatant disregards for human rights. Who benefits from this? I haven't found any solid proof that any part of this project does great things to improve the lives of the citizens. It does have a negative impact on history and the sacred grounds for the native cultures in the areas. This is the effects of corporate greed!

As long as there have been govern-cement, the police are there to protect and serve the govern-cement.

Court rulings have shown that the police have no implied responsibility to help an individual.

The police have always been the pointy end of the spear that is politics. Every time there is a police state, the police are the first to die.
We, the people in The U.S., are living in a police state. I hope that this time govern-cement dies, never to rise again. Maybe a protectorate, or maybe anarchy. But deciding who will be sacrificed by popular vote, is not an appropriate way for righteous men to act.
