I GRADUATED FROM COLLEGE!

As what the title entails, I graduated from college with a degree in Civil Engineering. It is kind of a big deal for me because earning that college diploma was really difficult, talk about the PLATES! I can still remember how I would drink two cups of coffee at dawn just to pass my plates in the morning. Thanks to my all time favorite series: FRIENDS, I was able to have a good laugh while solving.
Let me tell some stories from my college years. During my early years at the university, I used to earn extra money to buy new sets of books through freelance works. These freelance works include making essays for subjects that don't interest engineering students. Some students don't have the time to write essays for other minor subjects, hence I do it for them and charge them for few bucks. Right there and then I realized my love for writing.

Some of my college friends.
Of course I cannot survive my course without my friends who motivate me every step of the way. They serve as not only my classmates and batch mates but also my closest friends whom I shared my lunch with, my stories, the tears, and the laughter. Also, I spent most of my college years at the school dormitory since my house is quite far from the school. My room mates were some of my best friends, they know me a lot since we shared a room together. I guess the saying "If you want to get to know someone, live with them" is really true. They also helped me during the times that I am down and I feel discouraged with my course. They are always there. Finally, my family, they supported me financially and in so many aspects as well. They served as shoulders to lean on. They always have my back and they never fail to show me how much they love me.

My next plan? Well, I guess I will start to review my notes and get ready for the board exam. Wow, I already foresee my future days packed with activities.Maybe, I will spend less time on steemit in order to prepare for the exam, but of course I will not leave the platform.I know that my adventure in life is still beginning and I look forward to it! College has taught me a lot of lessons, even those that weren't taught inside the four walls of the classroom. I am aware that there are more challenges to come and I hope I can overcome them with my head held up high.

Congratulations @reewritesthings. I feel the excitement of it all across the water here in the U.S. I am so happy for you. Tribe Love!!!

OMG! congrats @reewritesthings! Welcome to the jobless community! Kidding aside. You know what, diving to the real world right after college is one hellovadventure - job hunting, updating resumes and attending to various interviews. You'll get through that stage sooner or later. Now, savor the success after the 5 long years of studying the nerve-breaking course you've chosen! congrats!

Haha. Thanks for the heads up @ybanezkim26! I'll prepare myself for a huge slap from reality nalang gyud. hehehe. You too, never stop steeming!
Congratulations! I wish you much success in your endeavors.
thank you so much @sumayyahsaidso <3
Congratulations! Just like you, I used to write lots of essays for friends and colleague during highschool and university years. Your post reminded me of those years ;0)
Thank you so much @lymepoet! The difficult thing with writing essays for others is that when you have the same subject to write about, the work becomes harder to produce 2 essays that are not too similar in thought and words. Instead of one, you need to make 2 or in some cases, 3 . haha :)
Congratulations, and many wishes for a long and lustrous career doing what you love!
My grandfather was a Safety Engineer for the Bureau of Indian (Native American) Affairs in Gallup, New Mexico, and spent decades serving the people he knew and loved.
Be true to yourself and you can't go wrong. ;-)
Thank you so much @crescendoofpeace! wow your grandpa must be so amazing. Thanks for dropping by Cori! :)
