Drawing Challenge#3 - Learn how to draw a Dragon Fruit with @redrose
Hello everyone, how are you today? Glad to hear that you all be alright.
In this occasion, I would like to invite you to draw a dragon fruit with me. This is my first time get in this contest.
I would like to thank to @helene for holding this drawing challenge that give me an opportunity to share my painting with you. The theme for this challenge is fruit and if you would like to take a contribution on this competition, you can check here.
Dragon fruit is a fruit that can cure cancer and chinese people consider dragon fruit brings blessing, therefore I decided to choose dragon fruit as my theme in this drawingchallenge.
Let's do it!
For this work, I chose colour pencils as my painting method.
Step 1. First, we have to use a pencil to sketch the outline of the dragon fruit.
Step 2. I used a black pen to thicken the edges, to make the fruit look clear.
Step 3. I used a green pencil to color the ends of the petals, and added a red pencil that dominates the dragon fruit color. Do not forget I add black spots to cause the seeds using black pen.
