Monomad: Looking Upwards
My entry to #monomad hosted by @monochromes is the old maple tree in black n’ white.
This maple tree is near the back of the forest and had a few branches broken off when the Dorian storm came through, thus giving the stately maple a wild dishevelled look.
Even though it’s late fall, there are still a few leaves hanging on the maple tree. It’s green leaves turned a magnificent shade of red and crimson before falling off.
The sugar maple tree can be tapped for sap to be made into maple syrup.
When walking through the forest I always stop and spend a few minutes by this lovely old tree.
