Monomad: Baby Squirrel

My entry to #monomad hosted by @monochromes is the first photo of Tiny the baby squirrel.

Tiny likes to come around in the early mornings to see if any treats left on the back deck for him.

He doesn’t seem to be afraid. His mother, No Tail, has not been around. Perhaps Tiny is an orphan now.

Squirrels don’t live that long and his mother had a hard life fighting the other adult squirrel on the property for territory.

Tiny is waiting as the morning is starting to break. He is starting to grow and lose the baby stage. But he is still cute.

Tiny is a brave little one and likes to be on the deck before the Blue Jays come by. Blue Jays can be aggressive but they don’t bother chasing him away. Maybe he’s their mascot. :)
