What's slowing us down?

When it come to developing an app or service built on top of a service, the parent service the developer is building on needs a solid foundation.

This is what is slowing us down.

#1. Steemit sign-up is slow and unreliable. We are developing an app that specifically works with Steemit. The app has a potential of bringing a boat load of users to Steemit, but if it takes 2 weeks after sign up before a user can even login then what's the sense? We decided to scrap Steem Connect for login/sign up because of that reason.

#2. SMTs are not released yet and we want to create a SMT for our app store and in-app purchases api for rOS. We can do it without the SMT and just use STEEM but that's twice the amount of coding so we figured we will pause this project until the SMTs are ready for primetime. SMTs are also slowing down other projects we are working on like Redeaux FM and Redeaux TV, we are waiting for it.

#3. Rural Red Music Group is a start-up country music record label we are working witb who has decided to wait for SMTs as well and has been waiting weeks for the approval email from STEEMIT. They were going with Ethereum, but we explained why Steem is better and why they should wait and have patience.
