1957 Chevy (WIP)
Buildings Are Almost Finished
I'm Going To Make My Self Imposed Deadline!
All that's Left To Do On The Car And Building Is Detail Work.
I Figured Out Why I Put Off Finishing This Painting!
Subconsciously I didn't like the yellow color of the main building. So I gave up and painted the whole thing a weathered brown using Vandyke brown and Prussian blue and immediately my energy kicked back in and I was able to move on. Also I have a slight dyslexic problem with right and left. Building angles can trigger sensations like nausea and dizziness. I can ignore those physical sensations and it doesn't happen all the time when working on angles.

Blue and brown are a great choice, I did not know that drawing is so hard, but you really did a great work . @reddust
Drawing and painting remind me of long distance running. When I paint there is a whole range of painful and energetic sensations, obstacles like walls get in the way... The only time I feel a shot of bliss is when I finish the painting. Pretty much like running,

Can you make copies with different color 57' Chevy's?
I can do commission work, like painting someone's favorite car. The car was the easy part of the painting. I loved working on the car. This is my first attempt drawing and painting a vehicle. lolololol

That is beautiful and I think brown color is looking more beautiful than the yellow on the building.
yeah the brown works with the background and doesn't steal the show from the car. I think I'll tone down the orange on the building as well. Just add a bit more brown. Thank you @rocksg! This painting has made me stretch, in fact I think I have stretch marks!
