HTML5 Tutorial

Don't Give Up‼️

It's all so confusing to me, the HTML editor does not work very well and I couldn't figure out markdown. So I studied HTML code online but many times online tutorial elements don't function on steemit...I wanted newbies to see how I struggled trying to figure out how to format my blog page.

If you want to separate photos add this paragraph( < p > < /p > )code to your photo without markdown code.

See I added < p > and markdown does not function correctly. This is so confusing, do a search on Steemit using HTML or Markdown for your search word and you'll find all sorts of simple coding tutorials written by expert Steemit bloggers.

Markdown on steemit doesn't seem to behave in quite the same way as regular markdown. I've been struggling a bit as well, so it's good to see some possible fixes for the formatting I'm looking for.

Also, it could be that the HTML elements that don't work actually don't work on purpose. It would be dangerous to allow HTML injection into steemit posts as this opens up the possibility of malicious usage.

That I didn't know about HTML, thank you @chasmic-cosm. I love all the data I'm gathering on Steemit. Figuring out format puzzles has been fun! I love this 😂😂😂

I had no clue I'd enjoy figuring out formatting issues.

Though reading this I wonder why do I feel like you have complicated it?

Markdown should do everything listed, isn't it?

I do have a post on that, if you wish to check it out.

I couldn't get markdown to work for me, especially making the words flow around a picture and having several pictures in my article. I knew a little html from blogging on wordpress so I went with what I already knew. But I still struggled with HTML on Steemit. Html doesn't work the same here, the whole thing was and still is frustrating.

Thanks for sharing @reddust.
So nice of you.

It's kinda embarrassing, I'm a horrible writer and I struggle with grammar and spelling. I have read so many new people giving up, not only because they struggle with views and low rewards, but also it's very difficult to format on Steemit. Can you imagine trying to write an article in English, it's not your native language and trying to present a nicely formatted article? Hats off to all who stick with it!

100 % agree with you @reddust.
:)
