The Delicacy of a Pink Paper Poppy

This is the heart of a real poppy... we call them "paper poppies" sometimes, because they seem as delicate and fragile as a tissue paper poppy.

You are just looking at the very center of a flower that is less than two inches (5cm) across.

To heighten the "drama" a bit. I added some art filters.

Hard to tell you're actually looking at a flower!

I have always liked the classic Black-and-White, but the color on this one is almost too delicate to make it look as dramatic as I had hoped.

I do like that you can actually see the pollen, at right!
