ZenGold vs OneGram
OneGram seems to be a total dissapointment. It was supposed to be the biggest ICO the cryptocurrency world has ever seen (500,000,000$). I thought it had all the ingredients to be a big success, but boy i was wrong :(
The idea of a cryptocurrency backed by real gold (held in a secure Dubai vault) that was going to increase in value by design (the net profits from transactions fees are to be invested in buying more gold to back each gram) sounded very appealing to me.
The stats on their website show that they've attracted only 1 million dollars in one week with 112 days to go until the end of the ICO. If the rate stays the same they will barely attract 17 million dollars, a lot less than what they were expecting.
Meanwhile, ZenGold (ZGC), a similair initiative had its ICO on May 26th and sold out in 30 minutes (5 million dollars)! I missed it argh!
