The REAL start of #YouTubeWakeUp
People keep saying #YouTubeWakeUp has been the creation of Mattwhatitis but that is totally false and i want that out of the way.
The above video started it all up it's subtitled and i recommend watching that before attacking a group of people who been trying to do something about this.
Everyone is pissed off at Matt because he started screaming to contact advertisers but if you do your research you are going to find out this and more issues involving children have been addressed to YT for a long time.
YouTube has done little to nothing and are the ones that created this situation we all been saying for months this will end up into being the biggest scandal so far because of their ignorance.
I feel bad for the small creators but as for YouTube as a company they deserve this and now are forced to take responsibility and can finally respond to the complaints they have received for months

This isn't new just look at Elsagate right now it's still there and people make alot of money still.
They do damage control and go back to business and hope people won't notice for a while and stop looking at it.
You don't run a healthy business like this they need to restructure reorganize and fix stuff.
A great start would be to FIRE Susan Wojcicki.(Matt should have asked for that instead lol).
All we can hope for is them learning something fro all of this but tbh. looking at their past i'm afraid they won't.
Disagree with Matt all you want but stop attacking the group he used to prove his point.
Also what i am wondering is why Matt picked that hasjtag because he did see our research but never mentioned anything about what was already there.
He could have used it to prove YouTube done little to nothing :(.
Ah well on the bright side now people will see and hopefully understand what is really happening.
Thank you for reading this rant and hopefully people will do their own research before targeting a group that have been trying to do what is right.

I really hope the livestream abuse wont be forgotten over all of this commotion as we have been witnessing actual grooming and actual exploitation.
These children often go live for the very first time ages as young as 6-7.
Pedophiles promise them likes and subscribes (easy when YT allows 50 brands on every mail) and make them expose theirselves up to the worst kind of perverted stuff.
One of the worst cases even mentioned unlisted private streams where the minor mastrubatet for the groomers sick pleasure.
YouTube needs to stop ignoring their community and actually fix these easy exploits that are a real danger for children worldwide.
