13th Severed Human Foot Found on Canadian Beach, Authorities Claim No Foul Play in 12 Cases?

British Columbia resident Mike Johns discovered a human foot last week near Jordan River B.C. Thirteen human feet have now washed up on British Columbia's coastline over the past decade.

Johns says he was out for a walk, when his dog discovered the foot in a shoe "with part of the leg attached."

This is the 13th foot to wash up on B.C's coastline since 2007, officials have previously claimed that they've already identified 8 of the feet as belonging to 6 people.

There have been a range of theories concerning exactly how the body parts appeared on the beach, as Canadians have speculated about possible connections to human trafficking rings or an unknown serial killer. However, authorities have argued that none of the deaths are the result of foul play, claiming instead that the individuals died by accident or suicide.

An investigation is underway for this most recent discovery, and the remains have been turned over to the B.C Coroner's service for further analysis.
