Lying is OK but offending someone isn't?

So the media says that you are not allowed to offend anyone. But lies to you on a constant basis. A lot of the time totally blatantly. What about conspiring? That is ok. As long as you do not offend anyone. And what opinions don't they like? Ours. And they delete our asses for exposing their game. Maybe decentralized platforms can take back our freedom of speech and their control.
