CPD is the most important tool in teachers life.
School education department needs to motivate teachers for it.
Teachers get hardly any appreciation for continuous professional development, that’s why only few got interested in CPD which can be the most important arena.
There's many SWAYAM online courses but hardly a few teachers even know it.
There’s is no much cooperation by state government to teachers. Many teachers do there new degrees and diploma by their own casual or earned leaves.
You will surprise to see that only a few govt teachers visited CCRT or NCERT . They are unaware of programs going on these places. State Govt also not pay attention to send teachers there for CPD of their teachers.
There are various online courses by CIET of NCERT New Delhi but how many teachers are doing it, is that question.
CPD also have no much importance in State awards for teachers.
But for teachers growth, there's high need of CPD. Teachers have to work in every changing conditions. Every year there's change in syllabus and technology is taking place in daily curriculum and to face it only way is CPD.

All boards need to see that private school must avoid private publishers book. you will surprise to see 400-500 rs mathematics books for 4-5 classes in private school. All motive is just to earn profits by selling those books to kids.
Many private schools are more interested in selling Books and dresses to kids rather than teaching them. Even you see the expensive school of your city, which has the highest fees structure is also not refrain from selling books and dresses to the students.
Most of our MLAs and MPs are regular Chief guests of these private schools, how you expect them to control unethical practices of private schools. Public themselves need to bee active about these issues.

In Govt High School, the most important post is of Headmaster, as if there's one or two vacant posts of teachers then Headmaster can manage them by other teachers of schools. But if post of Headmaster is vacant then it's just difficult to control whole school.
Large numbers of High schools in Punjab is still without heads, which leads to many administrative problems and it is biggest hindrance to achieve required goals set by policy in the schools . As per RTE act state must fill posts in schools. It also the violation of RTE act.
