Avenger: Infinity War Spoiler Free Review

Wow, what an amazing and unpredictable movie. I am coming from a place of knowing the comics that this story-line is based on, and I was still surprised. This movie is flawlessly executed. I just watched a few hour ago and I am still processing it. Also I will write a spoiler review later on, because there are so many awesome things to discuss.

All of the characters still feel like themselves, even though they are in the hands of different directors now. It shows that the Russo brothers worked with the directors of each solo movie. It was an effort that payed off. The team-ups and interactions between the characters is so fantastic. Sure, some teams are better than others, but every character in the movie gets a moment to shine. That is a very big accomplishment with so many characters.

The action was great and very very creative. Sure, there is no fight like the airport scene in Captain America: Civil War, but the action here is just spectacular. So original, and that's hard to come by these days. Some of the fighting will make you wish that there are 3 hours of more of this out there for you to watch.

Unlike most Marvel movies, this movie doesn't have a lot of jokes in it. The jokes that are in this film are pretty good and they usually doesn't ruin the emotional impact of a scene, unlike in Thor: Ragnarok for example. So, if you are in it for the laughs, you will be disappointed.

Yes, this movie is darker than any other Marvel movie before it, it takes itself seriously, the risks are serious, and Thanos is the villain that the MCU has waiting for. His Black Order are also formidable and impressive, but they lack character, background, a reason to care other than they act cool and have cool powers. But Thanos gets almost an unprecedented screen time for a villain. You understand his motivations, you really do. The change that they made from the comics is great.

It's hard to talk about the movie without spoilers, but this movie deliver gut punch after gut punch and I was on the edge of my seat most of the movie. Yes, it does have some part that are a bit dull. But mostly this movie moves at a really fast pace. Mostly because the Avengers can't keep up with Thanos.

Speaking of Avengers, every time the Avengers theme music was playing in the background I was tearing up a bit. If I wasn't the not crying person, I am sure I would have cried in this movie. It got a lot of strong emotional reactions from the crowd I watched it with.

Also the post credit scene was brilliant and perfect. I want Avengers 4 now please.
