Now Morgan Stanley has published a study on the distribution of the volume of trade in digital assets in the world.

Malta took the first place in the ranking — the country accounts for most of the world's trade in cryptocurrency. In the top-5 also includes Belize, Seychelles, USA and South Korea.

At the same time, most exchanges in the world are registered in the UK, the US, Singapore and Turkey. Malta and Belize are on the 22nd and 23rd places respectively. The reason for the contradiction is that Malta recently moved one of the largest exchanges in the world, Binance. And OKEx, the second largest in the world, is now in Belize.

The study notes that the UK, where the largest number of cryptocurrency exchanges are registered, accounts for only 1 percent of the global trading volume.
