The RAF Museum (Part 2) / 英国皇家空军博物馆 (二）

We continued to explore the RAF Museum and moved onto the "Hanger 2" building. It had a very different styling and traditional feel with its array of bi-planes on display, focusing on the "First World War" in the air from 1914 to 1918.

There was also a kid’s play area too which is a welcome addition to the museum. If you visit there with young children, this is just perfect for them to blow off some steam, lol.

"Hangers 3, 4 and 5" were all contained within one huge building which was the highlight of the exploration in my view. It is absolutely stuffed full with interesting, beautiful aircraft as well as an assortment of other RAF associated vehicles. There was so much to see and read up on, from helicopters to sea planes and even a huge Vulcan bomber. Absolutely stunning and superb examples telling the story of RAF's history!

"Hanger 6" houses the more modern planes and technology of our times. It was fast approaching towards the end of the day so we only had time for a quick final scout and yet more impressive displays.

Overall, the facilities are pretty good in the museum, including picnic areas, a kids playground, a café and gift shop. The picnic area comes in really handy as you can just bring a packed lunch and spend a full day out here without worrying about the expense.

The RAF Museum is an unmissable visit for anyone who has even the vaguest interest in English history and airplanes. This place comes highly recommended. Enjoy!

看完1号展馆，我们来到2号展馆继续参观英国皇家空军博物馆。这里展示了从1914年到1918年第一次世界大战期间的一系列双翼飞机，与一号馆有着很不一样的风格和造型，给人一种传统美感。

馆内还设有一个儿童游乐区， 让小孩子们在这里尽情玩耍，非常受家长欢迎。

3号，4号和5号展馆合并在一栋大建筑楼里，我觉得这里是皇家空军博物馆的精髓所在。整个会场展示了各式各样令人惊叹的飞机以及与RAF相关的交通工具，从直升飞机到海上飞机，甚至轰炸机！除了视觉上的震撼，我们还津津有味地阅读了不少关于飞机的历史介绍及其故事，嘿，又涨知识了，呵呵。

最后的6号馆为游客展出了相对更现代的飞机以及航天技术，虽然临近闭馆时间，我们还是很快的浏览了一下，也相当不错。

总体来说，英国皇家空军博物馆设施十分好，包括野餐区，儿童游乐区，咖啡厅和礼品店。尤其是野餐区非常方便，一家人可以自带午餐在这里吃，不必担心额外费用。

对于英国历史和飞机感兴趣的朋友，位于伦敦的英国皇家空军博物馆是一个不容错过的好地方哦！我个人非常推荐，呵呵。
