All Lives Matter

All Lives Matter

All lives do matter
Don't try and shatter this truth
This should be important
Not only to me but to you
Our children are black
Our children are white
Our children could be purple
Blue, green, or yellow quite
But that doesn't meet they aren't a nice Miss or Fellow
We are all breathing in the same air
And we will all die someday
We are all walking, crawling through this life
Scraping and fighting to get through each day
We work to live
We live to prosper
We die for a cause
We sometimes wander
But never squander what you hath been given
I love those of a different color as much as I love my own
Why fight over something you can't control?
Why fight over something you didn't ask for?
We are all human
We are all in God's hands
It's a testament to faith that we uphold this land
The Earth, sea, land, and sky depend upon us to be e'er true
All lives do matter
Doesn't your life mean anything to you?
