Chemistry // So natural

Humanity is intrinsically related to its environment or natural environment, it constantly suffers from transformations through the development of various phenomena that we have had the imperative need to study in order to understand much beyond the mere fact of its relative and natural transformation. The human conscience during our history has been strengthened thanks to the work that the scientific field has been doing, therefore, one of the most praiseworthy contributions of this prestigious field has been to grant us one of its most wonderful branch as the chemistry represents, the same always in favor of both the development of all the people that inhabit this planet as well as for any living species that without a doubt directly or indirectly in recent years has benefited from the study of chemistry in all aspects, therefore , has managed to see each of these chemical processes in a natural way in each of our activities in any area that we find, that is, a fact understood and shared more naturally.

Then we can say that chemistry has given us the practical possibility of being able to understand innumerable processes or phenomena that are part of our daily life, the simple fact of seasoning our food represents a clear example of the scope as well as the possibility of understanding the extraordinary work of this science for our welfare, all at some time we have heard the inorganic compound that is originated by the chemical reaction of the combination of sodium (Na) plus chlorine (Cl); which act as reactants to give the final product Sodium Chloride (NaCl) also known as table salt:

However, its scope extends much further because the phenomena that are part of the study of this area also have an occurrence within our organisms, therefore, being able to understand them has given us valuable tools in deepening the care of our health, as long as we take care of the good use of these important discoveries.

We can also affirm that chemistry, like other branches of science in the field of the study of our nature, bases its bases or extends its deepest roots in the experimental aspect or activity, thus representing a vast field to carry out any type of study and in this way formulate the comprehension of innumerable subjects, understanding that to be able to perform a certain necessary experiment is the permanent observation of a certain fact or phenomenon to be studied, in order to arrive at the logical reasoning which will allow us to elaborate theories, we can find that in many occasions due to its practical capacity this science always aspires to anticipate experiences, however, due to the approach of any hypothesis as well as for the verification of its validity, this area proposes experimentation.

Field and object of study

Any entity or object or even our own body are made up of different types of materials, this makes the work of chemistry is simply exciting but at the same time very complex, since to be able to study our own organism in favor of humanity is without doubts the tool of greater importance that this science gives to man for its permanence and expansion through space-time, therefore we can say that chemistry is responsible for the study of the constitution, properties and transformation of matter as described above any entity very perceptible or imperceptible to the human eye.

It is important then to highlight the need to understand the states of matter, which are three, solid, liquid and gaseous, since any substance will be at least in its principles in some of these three states, the most practical or palpable example for being able to understand such states represents the substance of major importance for all the living species of our planet, that is, water, this characteristic makes it very useful when it comes to explaining the molecular behavior of any type of substance present in our universe.

All studies of chemistry as we know is based on the application of the scientific method, that is, through observation makes or formulates hypotheses which submit to the basic verification of the experiment, with this we can see whether the statement is correct or the opposite requires an adjustment or total change of said formulation.

The whole scientific field is generally related to its branches and chemistry does not escape this interdisciplinary character since its analyzes or studies provide great material that serve as a basis for other areas of science such as biology and geology, this has to do with its very broad object of study which makes chemistry acquire this fundamental character for other branches or areas of science, since they seek to reason any event through the interpretation of chemical character.

Sisterhood ties with Physics

Chemistry, as well as physics, represent the most important branches of the scientific field charged with nothing more and nothing less than the study of each and every one of the wonderful natural phenomena of our micro and macro universe, the contribution of both in the study of Atomic structure represents the greatest contribution that any area of knowledge has given us, I am convinced that both the present and the future of humanity will be in the hands of atomic knowledge developed by both scientific branches, this not only represents the fact of giving prestige to these areas, since both have been worthy of such recognitions since from their beginnings they have given us practical and tangible facts, raising exponentially both our intellect and our social welfare, however, to my understanding, these natural sciences have passed over you grow the objectives set during your most remote beginnings, but without or, the task each day is even greater.

Knowledge is the most natural feature that our environment has offered or that science through chemistry and physics have managed to decipher to deliver it in a language according to our scientific development, it is important that we can understand the type of natural phenomenon when we are observing it, since this will determine that its respective study corresponds to the area of chemistry or physics, therefore, we have:

Physical phenomenon

It is that process experienced by a certain system or entity when it does not represent a change or transformation of the nature of each of the substances that comprise it, only a change of state, form or volume is experienced, therefore these phenomena are characterized by being reversible.

In the illustration of figure 3, we can see a physical phenomenon since this process is reversible because the nature of the properties of the substance is not altered. We only notice a change of state, either from solid to liquid or from liquid to liquid. gaseous, and they can return to their initial state, for this case the substance studied is water, a practical example represents it when we put in our kitchens a container with water to boil, we easily notice the passage from the liquid state to the gaseous state.

Chemical Phenomenon

It is that process that if it undergoes change or transformation in the nature or composition of any substance, that is, it produces new substances, highlighting then that such phenomena are not reversible.

Saying goodbye to the extraordinary physical science, we come to the subdivisions of chemistry and can describe the following:

General chemistry

The fundamental aspects or principles of matter such as structure and its properties are occupations of this part of chemistry.

Inorganic chemistry

This part of chemistry deals with the study of all elements and compounds, except the majority with carbon structures, however, consider only the simplest of this family.

Organic Chemistry

This part of chemistry can also be called carbon chemistry, since it deals with the study of the most complex carbon compounds, its applications are fundamental in our actuality, because they are used in one of the most important sources of generation of carbon-carbon structures like oil is.

Petrochemistry

It represents one of the most important activities of our time, especially those carried out in a crude refinery (crude oil) where basically four activities are carried out, distillation, cleaning with water, cracked and mixed, in order to extract all the derivatives and sub-derivatives of oil, but this part of the chemistry will be another fabric to be cut in a forthcoming publication.

Geochemistry

It is responsible for the study of the composition of our crust and terrestrial core therefore, also of the transformations of rocks either by the action of erosion or by the process of metamorphosis. We also find industrial chemistry, thermochemistry, electrochemistry, among others.

In conclusion we could say that chemistry together with physics represent an extraordinary chapter of dedication in favor of humanity, in the wonderful effort to understand and interpret Mother Nature in search of a better well-being as well as a healthy coexistence with all that we surrounds, that's why chemistry is such a natural science.
