Osaka Castle and so called Osakajo is one of destination I visited in Osaka.
I read some information on japan-guide telling that Osaka Castle was built since 1583 on the former area of The Ishiyama Honganji Temple, which has been demolished by Oda Nobunaga thirteen years earlier. Osaka Castle was the largest castle at the time.

I was honestly so curious to see the castle. I have already heard about Osaka Castle which is a must visit place in Osaka. My friend and I were going the castle on Friday morning. After having breakfast at the restaurant of ANA Crown Plaza Hotel & Resort, we were heading for the castle.

My breakfast was rice with fishes, some raw vegetables, and some fruits as well. It was a great breakfast I ever had in Osaka.

The fruits looked colorful. A nice combination of fruits. I loved them. Fresh fruits are so good for our health. They contain a lot of vitamins and minerals.

After finishing our breakfast, we were walking to Osaka Castle. It was almost one hour walk to the castle. Quite far, isn’t?

Walking in Osaka was so fun since the view along the way was so nice and wonderful. The air was so clear and fresh. We started walking by the garden beside ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel. It’s beautiful and you know we were so happy to walk.

Most people are happy to walk. Walking is good for our body to be fit. And walking on streets in Osaka is a great experience.

After about 5 minutes walking, we passed Oe Bridge and then we just walked until arriving at Barazono Bridge. We passed the bridge and headed to Nakanoshima Rose Garden and continued walking until Tenjin Bridge.

During our walk, we found many interesting objects, including a nice full-glasses building. It looks so wonderful with bluish white color.

There was also a metal monument. It looked so great and unique object. We took some pictures with the object as the backdrop. Frankly, I have no idea the name of the place and object.

We kept walking and followed direction showed by google map. We arrived at Kitaoe Park, and continued walking. After pretty long time walking, we arrived at Kyobashi-guchi Entrance.

We kept walking and passing by Osakajo Gozabune Pier. And there was a boat or cruise on the water.

Some visitors took the boat to have trip along the outer moat of the castle. The moat is pretty wide with awesome view in its surrounding. Great stoned-wall protect the castle.

We enjoyed the view around the area. We took some pictures with Osaka Castle as the backdrop. It was so amazing.

To reach Osaka Castle we had to cross a bridge over the moat. The bridge’s name is Gokuraku-bashi.

I stood on the bridge, and my friend took a picture for me. It was fantastic you know, with the backdrop of Osaka Temple.

We passed the bridge and kept walking to arrive at Site of Yamazato-maru, and kept walking until finally we arrived at Osaka Castle. And finally I could look closely the Osaka Castle, which its main tower is situated on a plot of land on square kilometer, more or less.

We were so happy as we finally arrived at the most famous landmark in Osaka, Japan. I have already missed the place. Hopefully, I could visit Osaka Castle again
