what do you think is gonna happen if the usd goes away because of crypto?
the crypto boom
-raymonjohnstone
it wont
-cryptofan
its a thought
-raymonjohnstone
capitalists will continue to try and hang on
-cryptofan
hell nah
-raymonjohnstone
it will simply become less relevant
-cryptofan
that means it has the stank of dissapearing
do you know what happens if the dollar stops? does it loose value?
include every business turned to crypto
-raymonjohnstone
if its all of a sudden then then is riot and death
and nothing good
if it is gradual then its fine
-cryptofan
it wouldn't
go to that
would the dollar just levitate though?
-raymonjohnstone
not sure what you mean
-cryptofan
ooh. i guess people still look at bitcoin and other fiat to see it's market cap. but what if fiat doesn't exist anymore?
-raymonjohnstone
then bitcoin likely replaces it or something that has a more stable cost or a better decentralised decision making model like dash
litecoin does have a very hard line in value so maybe it but it is basically a bitcoin clone

-cryptofan
yes but the 1:1
ohhhh people keep making new coins
-raymonjohnstone
cryptofan let me ask you this, if crypto was going to go truly 100% globally accepted, dont you thin money would have been the way to do it?
it solves a huge problem in that way, but it didn't go 100% global
why?
-cryptofan
because no one has gotten it out
-raymonjohnstone
no
because it is too complex
tell me how crypto works cryptofan
-cryptofan
like a cellphone. yeah that's why no one knows about the trade bot
-raymonjohnstone
but a cell phone is usable
i don't need to know how it works to use it
and it took an open source OS to make that happen
-cryptofan
no i mean every person knows what a cellphone is and that it's what it is.
-raymonjohnstone
yea but they don't know what linux is
-cryptofan
because
-raymonjohnstone
or what a microprocessor is or what cellular waves are
-cryptofan
that's the answer. 'Because'
-raymonjohnstone
because they don't need to they are extracted from needing to know that because it just works
right?
-cryptofan
it could be were
or where
-raymonjohnstone
but the problem is that crypto has not extracted the tech away from its users
-cryptofan
i didn't pass highschool with grades lol
because why
-raymonjohnstone
because to do so in a non centralised way is almost impossible
as such the users must understand it
but because it is too complex it doesnt have high adoption
there is however a possibility that STEEM is the answer
-cryptofan
that's what i mean about bots. crypto is a bot. i'm 100% sure of it.
no way!!!
steem is just a social network haha. a knock off of what were underestimating

-raymonjohnstone
yea that's true crypto is a bot a distributed bot that is only allowed to do what everyone agrees
yea but think about how it extracts the technology from the user
-cryptofan
yep. what we need
that is just a circle
-raymonjohnstone
does a steem user need to know what a blockchain is to use steem?
-cryptofan
yes because i do
-raymonjohnstone
ok yea you do but do you need to to use steem?
-cryptofan
yes because we wouldn't have this right now ❤
-raymonjohnstone
do you need to know what POW2 cryptographic signing is? to post something on steem?
-cryptofan
no
-raymonjohnstone
and you dont need to know what a blockchain is either, you are a miner so you are kind of an exception
but a standard user doesnt need to understand the underlying technology of steem to use it
but it has the very distinct likelyness of introducing them to those concepts
that's why i think steem might be big
