So Are We Better?

When Will We Wake Up?

So big brother has you convienced that the world is a better place, everything is fine, Right? Well I would have to disagree with that. See what I can agree with is that the government and the main stream media has done an excellent job at making everyone think it's better.

I want to share one bit of information with you and if this doesn't open your eyes, then there is probably not much more I can help you with.

1975

1975 was a good year, so I have been told. I was only 2 years old at the time. And honestly don't remember anything about the 70's, I was an 80's kid. So check this out.

In 1975, 57% Of young adults aged 18 to 34 years old lived with a spouse and 21 % lived with their parents. Not to bad only 21% lived at home.

Also in 1975, 25% Of men aged from 25 to 34 had an income of less than $30,000 per year. Now $30,000 a year in 1975 had to be a decent income. I can remember my dad tell me that in 1979 he bought a brand new Chevy full size van and paid $8900.00 for it.

So the 70's seemed pretty good, well if we fast forward to 2017, this is where the shock factor comes in

2017

Now in 2017, 27% Of young adults aged 18 to 34 lived with a spouse and 33% lives with their parents. 🤔 seems like those numbers are backwards.

Also in 2017, 41% Of men aged 25 to 34 years old had an income of less than $30,000 per year. Now If you remember the price of a 1979 Chevy van ($8,900) today a 2017 Chevy van would cost you in the $30,000 range.

You might ask your self how is this possible that we now have more people making less than $30,000 per year then we did 42 years ago. I don't know about you but this doesn't seem like we are getting better, it seems worse. It's simple, it's the value and worth of the dollar, that's what is changing. That is what causes inflation. The dollar is the dying.

It seems that as a world we have gotten lost, lost with reality, lost with what's real and lost our minds. This shit isn't better, WAKE UP, this economy has been dying off now for 40 plus years, are you gonna wait untill it's at it's worse. Because if you look at the number above it think it's pretty close.

I have a 24 year old son that still lives at home, there are no jobs available for him. Sure he works, but it is a part time job with no future and no benefits. He is unable to locate a full time jobs. I have no idea what the answer is nor to I have any idea how to fix it. But making every single human believe that everything is better, is wrong. This is only setting the world up for a catastrophic event that we will remember for ever.

This is not a sales pitch more less a warning, you need to be invested in as little as possible in the dollar. Own some gold and silver for protection. It doesn't matter how much, just own some. Protect your family and your wealth.

Ray’s right. People used to go into debt to build businesses and factories to produce things that stimulated the economy and employed people. Now people just get into trouble with debt so they can consume ever more. It is totally unstable and all built on a dollar that is backed by less than nothing — it is backed by more debt.

This is bass ackwards alright, and will end with the dollar going “poof!”

Metals do not go “poof” — they go Ka-Ching! Stack ‘em while you can, it’s all on sale!

Ka-ching! My friend that what I like to hear.

It is interesting that the more 'progress' we make the worse off we are. Divesting from fiat to tangible assets like silver and gold is a good idea to protect your family. @ironshield

Thanks Iron

Right you are. The only thing holding it all together is other nations buying debt. Watch the bond market, bonds are debt, when bonds are selling back, a crash is near... And right now bonds are being sold back, and the Fed is printing to buy.

Monday should be interesting for the bond market. Thanks for stopping by bud.

Yep, the Bond market is huge compared to the stock market. Funny how financial big wigs can magically make a debt instrument an asset. There won't be enough buyers of Debt to keep this thing going much longer.

Only the buyer of last resort as they call it, the FED

With more money printed out of thin air of course.

Nice eye opening post brother! We are the same age, and my daughter is 25 😄 Maybe they should hook up? Lol!

As long as they live with you, let's do it. 🤣🤣

Great post. I have one at home about the same age. It seems the college degree is now like a high school diploma. I pray for the youngsters everyday. lol Joy

Yep it is a messed up situation, thanks for the visit.

To many distractions people care more about what eyeliner Kim K, wears nowdays

How true that statement is. Thanks for the visit.

One of the other changes that happened was that at some point companies, specifically publicly-traded companies went from providing a "reasonable rate of return" for their investors to providing a "maximum rate of return" for their investors (stock holders). Part of the way they accomplish this is by under-paying employees who have to put up with it because the largest companies control a large portion of the jobs. Most often, it's the wealthy who hold the stocks in these companies because poorer people are more likely to live paycheck to paycheck with no spare money for investing. It's sad.

No American dream here. Thanks for the visit.

Those are amazing statistics. And not in a good way. You are so right the media keeps telling us how amazing everything is. But if you just look at any small town in America you will see the truth. Run down and no growth. Great post. Keep it up

Small town will be gone soon. Thanks for stopping by
