"Trying to go to moon with a pull up cart" - An Introduction to Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev

I wanted to introduce everyone on to an individual who has been very beneficial to me on my own path of self-inquiry. Sadhguru is a yogi and spiritual leader as well as the founder of the Isha Foundation. The Isha Foundation is a non-profit that offers Yoga programs around the world.
Years ago while watching a youtube montage video I was enamored by Sadhguru saying "If your seeking the infinite, what instruments do you have to seek the infinite? Only sense organs isn't it? So through your sense organs, if your seeking the infinite, it is like wanting to go to moon with a pull up cart. Isn't it so? That is the plight of humanity right now. With a limited perception, they are trying to grasp that which is beyond". He has been one of my greatest sources for spiritual knowledge ever since.

On one occasion he gave the metaphor of us being a soup, a chemical soup to be more precise.
A chemical soup which consists of hormones, protein chains, electrolytes and so many other complicated things. Everyone has the same ingredients yet so many people are preparing a lousy soup.
To do yoga is to bring harmony to this soup.

Sadhguru is such a jokester, he cracks me up
Sadguru is positive public figure that makes western people more close to yoga and mysticism... one of my favorite videos of him I've seen is Mystic vs Scientist - everyone should check it out. Sadguru shows how limited western thought is and tries to seperate the main focus of science which is Brain to more broader and extensive look in life
