Achievement 6 Task by @ravigolu: Understanding Curation and Community

Hello steemians and everyone hope you all are doing great and reaching to your goal day by day.My name is Ravi Kumar and I am from India.

I have completed all of my previous achievements now I am going to continue with my achievement 6 task that talks about curation of contents and communities.Now I will specially thanks to my friend/mentor @sachin08 for his valuable guidance and he supported me a lot during complition of my task.I hope to continue counting on your support to continue on this platform.

Q.1.: Do you understand how voting and curation work in steemit?

Answer

Yes,I understand that this platform uses the Proof of Brain(PoB) protocol for curating.There is a fixed reward pool in steem.And the pool rewards distribute according to the quality content post.Since, the higher the steem power (SP),the higher the reward received from the steem reward pool.

It is important to mention that of the total amount received for the curation, the author will receive 50% of the value distributed between SBD, SP and TRX. The other 50% will distribute to the curator.

Another interesting fact is that if the curator has less than 500 SP, his vote will do so using 100% of the voting power, however, when he has 500 SP onwards, the curator will be able to configure and decide how to distribute his power (SP) in every vote cast.
All users have co-responsibility in the content curation process, that is why it is necessary to invest in the growth of our account by increasing our SP, when we do, we will be giving freely, what we receive by grace, that is, as well as other users stop to read our content and reward us with votes and positive comments, in the same way we must read content from other authors and reward them according to their creativity and originality.

And If i want to know that the post has been voted by me, then I will click on votes and then will check my name.you can see in below screenshot.

Q.2.: What happened if you vote a post before 5 minutes marks after posting?

Answer

If we voted a post before 5 minutes,50% reward goes to the author and remaining 50% goes to the curator.

In this 50% reward the100% of the curation reward will remain in the rewards pool when you upvoted the post at the moment of posting.At the very first minute the curator will receive 20%,and 80% remains in the reward pool.At 2 minutes, the curator will get 40%,and 60% remains in the reward pool.At 3 minutes,the curator will receive 60%,and 40% remains in the reward pool.At 4 minutes,the curator will receive 80%,and 20% remains in the reward pool.If a post is upvoted at the time of 5 minutes or after the 5 minutes then 100% of the reward will go to the curator.

Q.3.: Who will you vote for Steem Witness ? and Why?
Which community will you join in Steemit, and why?

Answer

I really know very little about the users who act as witnesses (witness), however, reading a little and documenting myself on the subject I chose to support with my vote to cotina because I have seen the transparent and quality work that their administrators do. I would also like to vote for @justyy for his valuable contribution to the platform.

There are many communities on steemit.I have already joined two communities and I am willing to join some more communities also.
The two communities that I have joined are Newcomers' Community and Best of India.
Also I will join the steemit crypto academy because I want to learn about the cryptocurrencies and trade.And in coming days I will start to post my task in steemit crypto academy too.
