Homemade Vitality Ketchup

Assalamu Alaikum. how are you all. I hope everyone is safe by the grace of God. I am also fine Alhamdulillah. Today I am participating #ketchup-s27w6.Thank you very much @afzalqamer teaching us such ketchup.

| Tomato | 1/2 kg |
| Garlic | 3 cloves |
| Ginger | 1 tbs |
| Turmeric powder | 1 tbs |
| Red chili | 1/2 tbs |
| Green chili | 2 pic |
| Suger | 50 gram |
| white vinegar | 2 tbs |
| Coriander leaf | 1/2 cup |
| Mint leaves | 1/2 cup |
| Brasil leaves | 3 tbs |
| Salt | to taste |
| Oil | 2 tbs |
| Water | 1/4 cup |
Step- 1
After collecting all the ingredients to make ketchup, I will move on to cooking.First, I wash the tomatoes very well with water to remove any germs. Then, I cut the tomatoes into small pieces with a knife so that they cook quickly.

Once I'm done chopping the tomatoes, I'll peel the garlic and ginger. I'll cut the ginger and green chili into small pieces to add to the ketchup.

Then I wash the coriander leaves, mint leaves, and basil leaves very well and let them drain for a while. Once the water drains, I chop them finely to add to the ketchup.

Now I will put a pot on the stove and then I will add the tomatoes and 1/4 cup of water in it and cover it with a lid and let the tomatoes cook. It will take about six to seven minutes for the tomatoes to cook. When the tomatoes are slightly cooked, I will add the garlic and ginger slices.
Step- 5
When the tomatoes are fully cooked, I take them out of the oven and put them in a bowl to cool for a while. When the cooked tomatoes are cool, I put them in a blender jar and blend them well. After blending, I strain the tomatoes well using a sieve so that the seeds and skins of the tomatoes are separated. This way I get a perfect tomato puree.
Step- 6
Now I will put a pan on the stove. When the pan is hot, I will add two tablespoons of soybean oil to it. When the oil is a little hot, I will add the chopped green chilies and fry them until lightly brown. Now I will turn off the stove and put the fried green chilies on a plate.
Step- 7
Now I will put another frying pan on the stove and put the tomato puree in it. Then I will add one teaspoon of salt, one teaspoon of chili powder and one tablespoon of turmeric powder and mix it very well.
Step- 8
After adding salt, chili powder, and turmeric powder, I add the browned green chilies to the tomato puree and mix well.
Step- 9
Then I will add 50 gm of sugar and 2 tbs of white vinegar and mix it well.If someone wants to eat a little less sugar, they can reduce the amount of sugar a little more. You can use sugar according to your taste.
Step- 10
At this stage, I will add the final ingredients of the ketchup, coriander leaves, mint leaves, and basil leaves, and mix well.All the ingredients for making ketchup have been provided. Now I will keep stirring and mix everything. After that my Homemade Vitality Ketchup is ready to serve.
Yes,I really enjoy and learn a lot about making homemade Ketchup by participant in this season. The recipes taught by the respected teacher @afzalqamar of the 27th season of homemade ketchup making are not only beneficial for our health but also a necessary recipe for our daily use. However, I feel that this season I have been able to learn about the details of making tomato ketchup. Which I never knew before, such as other necessary ingredients (black pepper, coriander leaves, mint leaves, basil leaves) can be used in addition to some basic ingredients. By participating in Steemit learning challenge 27, I have learned to make different types of tomato ketchup which will help me bring variations in making ketchup in the future.
