The Siberian chipmunk or common chipmunk (Eutamias sibiricus)

Cute fluffy buddy. He was preparing for a long, cold winter, namely, he wandered around the district and collected supplies that he would need in the winter. Chipmunks in October hibernate, and in the middle of winter sometimes wake up to eat and "go to the toilet." For this, in their burrows there are separate rooms. By the way, if you saw this little rodent, it means that somewhere near his home is located, because as a rule, they do not go far from their houses, but of course there are exceptions. Every year in this area I see chipmunks, apparently more than one generation of them lives here.
