Agile and long-tailed bird. In nesting time she adheres to open, well-warmed by the sun places, abundantly overgrown with shrubs. The most typical nesting sites are shrub thickets on forest edges, among meadows, along the banks of water bodies. Sometimes she even meets in the neighborhood with people, namely in urban wastelands, in gardens and bright parks. This year, such a bird lived in my yard.

They arrive in Siberia in early May, the males are the first to arrive and immediately begin to search and occupy the territory. They are actively singing warning that the territory is already occupied by them. And after a couple of weeks, when the females arrive, the males begin to demonstratively fly over their territory, not high, about 10 meters and sing in flight.
