The European goldfinch or simply the goldfinch (Carduelis carduelis)

This young bird enjoyed thistle seeds. A small flock of 7 birds occupied the glade with these plants, periodically echoing among themselves, they took long thistle seeds from the inflorescence and tried to resist and not fall from the strong wind.
When I began to approach them, they flew away. Therefore, I had to apply a trick. I hid in these thickets in advance, sat down and turned on the sounds of goldfinches on my phone. Some birds arrived, which surprised me, because they are very reluctant to respond to sound. These were young birds, probably not yet experienced. Adult birds remained in their former places.
I noticed that goldfinches eat very carefully, that is, their movements are smooth and unhurried, unlike other birds. In winter, they very rarely fly to me to the feeder, and therefore I was able to examine them close to the window. Great Tits are always fussy and in a hurry taking food, screaming, and these beautiful birds are calm and patient.
