The Eurasian nuthatch or wood nuthatch (Sitta europaea)
No, the photo is not upside down. Just this funny buddy found something in an old tree, some kind of seed, and took it out in the hope of hiding it somewhere. Thanks to strong legs with very tenacious claws, they are able to move along trees in any direction, and as you can see, even upside down.
